Pigment ink is much more resistant to fading than dye-based ink and will return results which are regularly quoted as being good for the next 75 – 100 years. We don’t use cheap and unstable water-based dye ink in our machine, but prefer the more expensive, and much longer lasting pigment ink.
This means we don’t have to crop a larger image to ‘fit onto A3 paper’ – a practice which can return some pretty unsightly results.
